Steak Hunger

As-Salam,

Last night, husband and I were craved for a Western Food. He suggested to try at Wadihana Islamic Steakhouse, one of Halal steakhouse at Bandar Baru Uda. I were instantly delighted with the calmness and ideal ambience. I find these Halallan Toyibban place overwhelming because we had zero self control, but I would say that is the best of the Islamic Steakhouse in Johor Bahru. There is no other place to experienced other than these, the Islamic dining western style place. Makan tanpa rasa was-was.

Basically, the price offered here is affordable and you can enjoyed the varieties of home-made that is not can found elsewhere. They served an extensive list of western foodie like pizza, burgers, pasta, soups, sandwiches, salads, quesadilla, nachos and of course, steaks itself.

Speaking of the steaks, many variety of steaks to choose from ribs, t-bone, sirloin, shoulder, tenderloin. The best selected meat, fresh and healthy with their home-made gravy makes all food enthusiasts like us enjoyed and gives much satisfaction in every bites!

My husband was so delighted by his menu, Grilled Sirloin with home-made Apple Barbecue gravy. These so tender and juicy!!! 

Turkey Sandwich with Omelette served with fries are heart-warming! The portion is quite big and always WIN my happy tummy!

Rocky Nachos with Cheese was always be favourite to my hubster! He tell me, "dah tak payah pegi "situ" lagi sebab dekat WISH pun dah ada Nachos macam ni. "

I'm so in love with Brocolli!

HAHAHA, look at him! What's more can I say? He finished it ALL! hehehe. Checked! Satisfied!!

It fixed our cravings! For you guys (who read this) kindly try & experience the most memorable Halal dining there.

Last Saturday

Happy Me! Chilling out! 

We had our protein stuff at our favourite place, Kapten Steamboat & Grill.
I don't care people said the soup (Tomyum & chicken soup) taste bad or what so ever,
but for me, all just fine. The meats are marinated well and so yummy!

Happy Always Mom!

23 December 2013. It's my Incredible Mom's birthday! She would have been 62 today! Happy Birthday Mak! I'm glad Allah SWT picked you to be my momsie! 

Mak,

I love you and treasure you. You are one of the strongest women I know. I have been blessed in my life to have you, who support me and love me unconditionally. You demonstrated how to be caring, loving, giving and independent woman.

You are more stronger since Arwah Abah passed away last year. My dua' and all my heart goes out to you, because I know losing someone we love is the worst things that happens in a person's life. 

I am blessed to have you as a best friend as well as a mom even we are apart. First thing first I reached office, I will call you, every day to make sure everything is okay.

Thank you for raising me and guiding me but most of all thank you for loving me the way you do.

P/s: Oh ya! Mom shares her birthday with her twin(my Aunt). Happy birthday Mummy!

Your Youngest Daughter.

My humble Inspiration of Kufi Art.

As-Salam.

I just really love into Kufi Arts. I have been inspired by all Islamic Calligrapher that I always google-ed for. Kufi is a font which is it can be read from top right hand corner and spirally ends at the centre. 

I give my respect to the pioneer in this amazing art and revolutionised it into a very most modern art in the world! I made this vector piece of Kufi as part of my hobby! If I got spare time in the office, I make these in Adobe Illustrator and filled it with lots of striking colours. This was my attempt at Kufi Script in that style with a bit of my own taste!

I was think of having my Inspired Kufi Script in frame & canvas to put/hang at my own house. One day for sure!

Chill & Refreshin'

As-Salam.

You may have heard the expression, "Once a coffee addict, always a coffee addict." Yeah I know everyone silently screaming for coffee, everyday, or every hour I guess. My friend do complaints on how she/he feel when there is no coffee when workloads come especially in the office. My boss, in 9 working hours, he make his drinks like 3 to 4 times daily. Coffee makes him happy for many reasons and of course the biggest reason is the way it tastes. It is like a magnificent feelings when the flavour to his coffee addicted mouth!

But for me, when I say I am not a coffee addict, I mean it. No joke. I don’t need coffee to be pleasant or awake. I used to drink coffee before, but it gives me headache! or maybe it just a mind setting of Big No to Coffee. err.. I think so. Instead of having coffee, I prefer go for chocolate/tea for my refreshing drinks. I know chocolate & tea are also in caffeine group, but I can go well with them! They have a very good vibe as well! 

As I sip my favourite Hazelnut Chocolate & Peppermint Green-tea, I start to think happy and all my stress seem to go away. I become more productive and energetic! ;P 

My favourite place to chilling and have those drinks at Starbucks. Lucky me, got Starbucks at my workplace! I have give my respect to all Barista for making my drinks taste good except for today. Tak cukup mint & tawar! :(

Ultimate Comfort Foodie

Food!

I can be extra happy when it come to foods. My biggest ultimate comfort food since my childhood is Laksa Utara. From Penang/Kedah/Perlis/Perak, seriously I can resist!  Laksa is a very forgiving soup in that sense. It was appetisingly awesome & delightful. The taste is really that good and mouth-watering!

Stop! Stop! I think it so many times i blog about Laksa. Hehehe!

Laksa is a noodle dish in spicy fish based soup broth topped with various shredded vege's like onions, spicy chillis, sweet pineapples, cucumbers and fresh mint leaves.  It gives an extra crunchy to the dish and also it more notable with the addition eggs and lots of petis udang! Nothing gives me a better satisfaction than sardine/mackerel chunks that's floating above the soup.

Speaking of Laksa, my all time favourite Laksa at my hometown Taiping. It can be found at Asam Kumbang, opposite Police Station. It been ages since i had my fav laksa there. I don't really know if the makcik's still run their business or not. I will come back later!

When I first stay in Johore Bahru, I feel depressed because I couldn't find the best taste and rarely find the place that sells Laksa. I keep hunting and finally found it! Just nearest to my working place at Kota Iskandar, Nusajaya. The laksa there was so good and delicious! Also at the food court Tesco Bukit Indah, sells Penang's dishes. It just great thought!

Instead of having Laksa at stalls and hawker place, I love to make by myself to fix my craving! When my first time made these noodles, it wasn't exactly feel the satisfaction. The taste was kureng here and there. My husband was my best personal critic.  I had try few times after that and Alhamdulillah, now I can cooked Laksa for my happy tummy.

2014 Wishlist

As-Salam.

As I'm breathing right now, another person takes their last. So, In Shaa Allah, I tried myself to stop complaining and learn to live my life with what I've got. Alhamdulillah.! Syukran.

Today is 11.12.2013. A very nice date huh? Happy Holiday to Selangorian of their Sultan's Birthday. A very good day to tie the knot for those who want to remember a beautiful date as their big day, indeed.  With just a few weeks left in 2013, I hope I've already achieves some previous wish list this year. 

Talking about career, Alhamdulillah, I'm still on the track as a designer. I really love what I'm doing now, and I tend to be one of those personalities that stays focused on being the best Graphic Artist that I can be. Even though I'm enjoy with my work, the environment here is not a positive area as I imagined before. Working with problematic & kipas people is really hard enough. It makes getting up in my every morning to work is very difficult. What ever it is, I just keep my head up and stay aware of the effect others have on me. That's the best way i guess! (argh! I'm complaining!) In Shaa Allah, I want to be a better version of myself next year. I want to put a higher price tag on my time and talent I have. 

Currently, I am happy  with my life, being with loved one. Living with in laws family, I guess I'm pretty lucky person ever. Not just can save our economy aloads, but I can mingled closely with them. But all relationships have their ups and downs and we're all human. Child can have their disagreements with parents, especially like me MUST to please everyone! It's often hard to speak you mind of respect, which is more leads to bitterness. I think both should be able to have their own way in their own homes. Oopps. Please don't get me wrong. I don't have any problem with my Mom in law, plus she is very nice mother ever! I have to understand that my husband is the only son and has to take responsible to his family. 

However, I need some comfy place to stay with my husband & my future kids. I just want to live in simple  life  with some privacy. Married couple needs privacy not only in common sense, but it is also backed up by the Al-Quran and the Hadith. People said, Hidup berdua memang best! On top of that, i really really really really really want to deco my own house and cook more often! I guess everybody has different thoughts and taste, also hates of being directed to doing this and that or please don't use this and that. Oh please! So i hope, in 2014, I can see my life grows beautiful & lively in my own house. In Shaa Allah.

I want to be more healthier. I want to reduce some weight as I'm gain much! I will take some supplements that play role in keeping the body healthy. Plus, I'm planning to take swimming class. I hope i can be healthy as I'm 29 next year. And we're put our hopes to get babies on 2014! Always in my dua', Allah will showered us with bless.

• I want to be more kind. 
• Gives more than you take. 
• Sharing happiness with others. 
• Listening more often, less talked. 

A great and sincere smile on my face with an honest compliments will have the potential to turn a life around i think. :)

LEGOLAND heart lover!

As-Salam,

For this entry, i want to share my experienced at Legoland Malaysia Resort. Some of my Instagram's friends knew, that I always spamming my account with aloads of pictures every time my visit to LEGOLAND Themepark. Since my husband is a Lego Model Builder, his company got him the privilege; an Annual Pass with 25% discount for each retail & F&B and also for his spouse aka ME! Aww! Super fun you know. Selalu gila pergi Legoland tu, like takde tempat lain dah! Haha, yeah! that's true, for me no other place to visit/go here. Plus it's free and I can go daily if i want! 

Legoland is frankly one of the best places to take primary school aged kids. Ultimately, it provides such inspiration for kids, and encourages them to use Lego and build things. As for example, my little 4 y/o nephew had really enjoy with his first visit at Legoland. He loved rides in Lego Driving School.

What I liked about Legoland Themed park is almost everything is hands-on. You can touch and push, splash, etc. It's really interactive experience and also the building too. Well, we should be proud, 30+ of Malaysian Lego modeller took almost 3 years to make the most awesome; beautiful Asian Cluster in Mini Land like JB town, KLCC, Angkor Wat, Singapore & so many with thousands of Lego bricks. Instead of Mini Land, Legoland has another 6 themed attraction for all ages such as Technic, City, Land Adventure, Imagination, Kingdom and The Beginning. 

I also enjoyed every time I went to Lego Studio - 4D Movie experienced. Legends of Chima, A Clutch Powers, Spellbreaker and Racers with 12 minutes animated 4D action, it's complete with high impact special effects. However the 4D makes it really awesome. You get snow coming out of the screen with the characters and you get it falling on your head in real life. You also get fire and water, pretty impressive.

My second visit was Legoland Water Park. I feel very excited after my hubby told me that he got 5 free tickets for staff & family to the waterpark's launch before the water park opens to the general public. (I'm just worked half day for the sake of waterpark) 

Although Legoland Water Park has more 20 slides, I refuse to feel the excitement. Same goes with 'Project X' at themed park, even so many times i go there, I never give a try. Rugi gile kan? I'm such an Altophobia & i'm not slide/rollercoaster junkie.

So, here the pictures;

And................... my third visit at Legoland Malaysia Resort was Legoland Hotel!!  Super Awesome and it was my first expensive hotel i've ever stayed in. As usual, hubby and his colleagues got a privilege to be the first guest to try/stay there. Each staff can bring their spouse and family member as well. No need to pay, just bring the body only. Hehe.

At Legoland Hotel i was amaze with the interior; the decorations.  Full of colourful sculpture bricks. It delighted by interactive LEGO features, themed play areas, kid's entertainment and family restaurant with amazing LEGO models everywhere.  There got 3 themed rooms; Pirates, Kingdom ; Adventure. Hell yeah, we got Premium Adventure Themed for 1 night stay. 

I should be proud, at the Reception area, hubby's masterpiece/artwork is hanged nicely there!! Previously he was worked so hard to installed the lego stuff in the hotel! Sayang, you and your team did a good job! Congratulations!
